Simple Ways to Remove Ink Stains From Clothing

We all probably can relate to this, having one of our favorite shirts stained accidentally by one of the toughest stains to remove, ink. This is not unavoidable though most of the time, we could not do anything about it. What you need is a lot of patience, determination, and probably luck as well.
Having said that, there are still some effective techniques to make this happen. Read on to find out some of the most effective tips for removing ink stains from clothing.
The two things you will need here is a cup of hot water and some nail polish, preferably the clear one so you will not have some discoloring issues. Find a test area first, probably inside one of the pockets or inside the shirt. Not all fabric is suitable for hot water and nail polish so you better test first before you actually do the job and ruin the shirt even more. Apply both the nail polish and hot water and wait for around ten minutes. This should be enough time for some discoloration to pop out. If nothing happens then you may continue with the stain removal. However if it does show some damage, stop immediately.
To begin, wash the area with hot water. This should wash out all the liquid parts of the stain and also loosen up the actual ink stain itself. After you are done then apply the nail polish on the ink stain. Let it settle for 2 minutes then remove with a sponge. The ink should come off together with the nail polish.
If for some reason you find it quite hard to remove the stain, then you might have to purchase one of those expensive ink stain removers from your local market. They should probably do the job pretty well but still read the instructions carefully.
Follow the steps above and ink stains should not be that of a problem for you in the future.
